Organic Bamboo Shoots 175g

Fresh and crunchy taste. Delicious in your Oriental dishes in combination with other vegetables. From wok dishes, curries to salads. Bamboo shoots contain little to no carbohydrates/sugars. It also contains vitamin C, potassium and magnesium. Rich in phosphorus.

Tip; the bamboo shoots remain nice and crunchy if you add them to the dish shortly before serving. The shoots have a strong smell, you can reduce this by blanching them before use. Bamboo shoots are the young offshoots of the bamboo plant that you can eat. In India, bamboo shoots are also used medicinally, for example, ointment is made from them.
