The Indian gooseberry, whole fruit, skin and fibre left in. Traditionally taken for hair, skin and everyday vitality. Organic amla fruit, dried and ground whole at 500mg a capsule. Phyllanthus emblica is called amalaki in Sanskrit and also Dhatri, which means nurse. Ayurveda puts it at the centre of the rasayana tradition, the plants taken every day across years. Eaten fresh it is eye wateringly sour, which is why most people take it as a capsule instead.
