The Maitake mushroom is also known as the “Dancing Mushroom” and the “Hen of the Woods”. ‘Dancing Mushroom’ is the name provided to it by lumberjacks and monks who found the mushrooms on their hikes and started to dance with pleasure because of their precious health-boosting characteristics.
We cultivate our organic maitake mushrooms on wood-rich substrate and extract solely from the fruiting bodies creating a potent and high-quality extract that is rich in bio-active components.
Our Organic Maitake Mushroom Extract is produced entirely from the fruiting bodies of the mushroom (not from mycelium). The fruiting bodies are grown on wood-rich substrate (not on grain) and so are loaded with beta-glucan-rich polysaccharides and other precious functional ingredients.

Temperature-controlled technique is used to obtain the powerful bio-active elements contained within the mushroom cells.
