Its main function is as a constituent of haemoglobin and is sited predominately in the spleen, liver and bone marrow. Haemoglobin carries oxygen around the body to the cells. Bio-Health’s Extra Iron has 150mg of Vitamin C added to aid the absorption of the mineral and its incorporation into haemoglobin. Copper has also been included in the formulation.
